Huge Crowds Attended the Reunion

Wilmington, DE.              The National Caucus of Counting Protesters In the Street, (the NCCPIS) was contracted to give us an estimate of the number of people attending the 40th reunion of Mt. Pleasant’s Class of 1966. “The turnout was tremendous,” said Kareem Inma Koffy. “Friday night, I’d say, um, we had eleventyseven.”
The official count at Saturday night’s gathering by the NCCPIS was 2.5 million attendees. Local authorities commented that the NCCPIS might be a little ambitious with that count, putting their estimate at 130 people. “Nevertheless, it seemed like everyone had a good time. And who is this NCCPIS anyway?”
The NCCPIS is the same group that counted the million-man march several years ago and the illegal aliens this year.

Turning 60!!

Wilmington, DE--- Most of Mount Pleasant’s Class of 1966 will enter their 7th decade of life this year, it was realized recently.  A quick survey of the class shows most students were born in 1948, but, surprisingly, some not. It is clear a further investigation is called for.

Born just after the end of World War II, the 48’ers were raised in a life of overindulgence and privilege. Almost none of the Class died of starvation, and there were few, if any, cases of cholera. For the first two decades, most of the Class lived in houses with indoor plumbing and running water. They generally lived without trauma or rejection, unless you count those heartless girls who tore out your heart by refusing to go out with you, and then ridiculing you behind your back! (whew, got that off my chest. Now I feel better)

So, this is the year the Class celebrates our 60th birthday. There is a calendar in this newspaper showing birthdays. Please send yours so it can be added to the calendar. Your classmates might send a gift, or money, or a card, or just sympathy. I’m hoping for all of the above.

Here is a calender to enter your birthday and see who's birthday is coming up. Username is bhotmer and password is greenknight.
